Ying Yu

Ying Yu has worked as a Data Engineer at Plooto since May 2022. Prior to that, from December 2018 to December 2021, they worked as a Software Developer in Data Engineering at GEOTAB. Before joining GEOTAB, Ying Yu held positions at the University of Waterloo as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from May 2018 to August 2018, and as a Student from September 2016 to August 2018. They also gained experience as a Software Test Student at BlackBerry from January 2018 to April 2018, and as a Data Engineer Student Coop at RBC from September 2017 to December 2017.

Ying Yu completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, attending from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, Ying Yu obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Software Engineering from Wuhan University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to these degrees, Ying Yu also obtained two certifications: Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera in December 2020, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer from Google in December 2021.
