John Tsang is a tenured Professor of Immunobiology and Biomedical Engineering at Yale University and the Founding Director of the Yale Center for Systems and Engineering Immunology. In this role, John is establishing a new center focused on systems, quantitative, and synthetic immunology. Additionally, John serves as the Yale Lead for the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Boards for ImmunoScape and CytoReason. John holds positions as an Adjunct Investigator and Co-Director of the NIH Center for Human Immunology, where oversight of the scientific vision and research program in systems human immunology is provided. Previous experience includes significant roles at Merck Research Laboratories, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Marine Biological Laboratory, complemented by a robust educational background with PhDs in Biophysics and Systems Biology from Harvard University and MIT, respectively, as well as degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
