Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager at Plug and Play

Niall Kerrigan has a diverse work experience in the field of health technology and life sciences. Niall is currently working as a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager at Plug and Play Tech Center, supporting the deployment of Plug and Play Alberta in the health technology vertical. Previously, they worked as a Senior Ventures Associate & Program Manager at the same company, where they focused on connecting startups in the digital health technology space with corporations in the healthcare industry.

Prior to their role at Plug and Play Tech Center, Niall worked as a Business Development Manager in the Life Sciences sector at Calgary Economic Development from July 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they held positions at Genome Alberta, where they served as a Senior Program Officer from August 2018 to July 2020 and as a Program Coordinator from May 2015 to July 2018.

Niall's educational background includes completing the Master of Biomedical Technology degree at the University of Calgary from September 2014 to August 2015. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Research Intern, conducting research experiments on developmental endocrinology of zebrafish under the supervision of Dr. Matt Vijayan.

Niall Kerrigan has a diverse education history. Niall obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Technology from the University of Calgary from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Zoology/Animal Biology at the University of Calgary, a program they were enrolled in from 2009 to 2014. In 2012, they participated in a Student Exchange Program at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied Biology/Biological Sciences, General for one year.

In addition to their formal education, Niall Kerrigan has also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they received a Bio Safety Level 1 certification from the University of Calgary. In 2013, they obtained a WHIMIS certification, also from the University of Calgary. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a Certificate of Excellence in FDI and Investment Promotion (CEFDI) from the Wavteq Institute.
