Lindsey Perkins leads the communications and marketing team for Plug In America. Her interest in storytelling started at a young age when she devoured the sports page daily, which progressed to corresponding with reporters and photojournalists, becoming a yearbook editor, and regularly carrying multiple cameras. After graduating from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and working for an expansion hockey team, she took her skill set to the business sector, starting a marketing agency that specialized in strategy and content. Her work spanned industries, from business services and online publications to manufacturing and healthcare.
Lindsey believes in empowerment through education, which has led her to volunteering and advocate for libraries, as well as teach people about opportunities for civic engagement.
