Brent Koski

Brent Koski has a strong background in the energy industry, with significant experience in the hydrogen sector. Brent currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Hidrogenii, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Koski was the Vice President of Hydrogen Energy at Plug Power, a role they held from July 2020 onwards.

Before joining Plug Power, Koski worked at United Hydrogen for over a decade, serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and later as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As the COO, they had overall strategic and operating responsibility for United Hydrogen Group and its subsidiaries. As the CFO, Koski directed the company's accounting and financial functions and maintained subsidiary budgets and consolidated financial statements.

Koski's experience also includes serving as the Investment & Finance Working Group Chair at H2 USA from 2016 onwards and working as the CFO at Murray's Jewelry from 2004 to 2007. Brent began their career at Aquila in a disbursements role before moving on to NCS Pearson as a consultant. Prior to that, Koski worked as an accountant at Olathe School District and in crude oil accounting at Koch Industries.

Brent Koski has an extensive education history. Brent obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from The University of Kansas, where they also pursued studies in Finance and earned a minor in Psychology from the same institution. Prior to that, they attended Wichita State University from 1988 to 1991, focusing on Accounting and Business/Management. Later, Brent completed their MBA in Business Administration at Baker University from 2001 to 2003. This educational background showcases their expertise and diverse knowledge in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Psychology, and Business Administration.
