Corey McAvoy has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT field. Corey started their career as a Production Technician and later worked as an IT Support Intern at Plug Power. Corey then progressed to become an IT Support Technician, performing Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 support for a global enterprise environment. Corey then served as an Operations Technician - Metrics Analyst, where they compiled and analyzed operational data to improve productivity and reduce costs.
At Plug Power, Corey also held roles as Global IT Applications Manager, where they established and managed an enterprise-wide intake process for software and service requests, and IT Program Manager, SAP Integration, where they managed the technical requirements for an ERP modernization project.
In addition to their roles at Plug Power, Corey was selected for a Cisco NBA Dream Team internship, where they provided assistance and support to NBA/Cisco network engineers during the NBA All-Star Week and All-Star Game.
