David Martinchek

David Martinchek has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering industry. David started their career in 1989 as a Project Engineer at Trico Products and worked there until 1994. David then joined ACD Tridon as a Project Engineer and stayed there until 1999. In 1999, they joined Valeo Wiper Systems as a Project Engineer and worked there for 8 years. In 2007, David joined General Motors as a Product Development Team Lead for Fuel Cell Stack Assembly and worked there for 14 years until 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Principal Stack Engineer at Plug Power since November 2020.

David Martinchek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. David also holds additional certifications, including DFSS Black Belt Certification and Red X Apprentice Certification.
