Don Rohr, PhD has extensive experience in engineering and process technology. Currently, they serve as the Process and Mechanical Engineering Manager at Plug Power, where they work with a team of engineers to design electrolyzer systems for hydrogen generation. Prior to this, Don worked at SI Group as the Principal Engineer in Global Process Engineering and Capital, leading a project for alkylated salicyllic acid and developing laboratory concepts into process concepts. Don also worked at Momentive as the Global Manager of Process Technology Chemical Operations, where they invented and developed technology for Momentive's global operations and managed projects in the US, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, Don held the role of Director of Stationary Power Programs & Hydrogen Generation at Plug Power, where they were responsible for system design and architecture for stationary power fuel cells. Before joining Plug Power, Don worked at GE Corporate R&D as the Program Manager of Advanced Process Engineering, where they defined fuel processing technology and strategy for fuel cell systems and led projects in Ultem monomer and polymerization processes. Don also has experience as a Senior Process Engineer at Arco Chemical, where they discovered manufacturing techniques and implemented scaling methods for urethane foam applications, and as a Senior Research Engineer at GE Corporate R&D and Dow Chemical, where they conducted research and developed process models for various operational areas.

Don Rohr, PhD has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of New Mexico. No specific dates are provided for the completion of these degrees.
