Mechanical Designer at Plug Power

Gerardo Plancarte began their work experience as an Assembler at Alimak Hek in 2010. Gerardo was responsible for dismantling and reassembling industrial elevators with new materials and equipment.

In 2011, they joined Matheson Tri-Gas as a Loader/ Filler, where they printed load sheets and supervised the shift to ensure timely completion of tasks. Gerardo also ensured the cleanliness and organization of the workspace at the end of each shift.

In 2013, Gerardo joined Applied Cryo Technologies as a Drafter, where they produced 2D and 3D drawings based on project specifications, created P&ID's, and reviewed drawings for compliance with company standards. Gerardo held this position until 2017.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked at PinnacleART as a Drafter, where they produced inspection isometrics based on field sketches and incorporated missing information from provided P&ID's.

Their most recent position was as a Mechanical Designer at Plug Power, starting in November 2020. In this role, they created P&ID's, produced 3D general arrangements, and generated 2D and 3D drawings for production. Gerardo also prepared a Bill of Materials (BOM) for required project materials and components.
