System Engineer II at Plug Power

Manuel Serrano Laguna has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Manuel is currently employed as a System Engineer at Plug Power since 2022. Before that, they worked at Nesco Resource from 2020-2022, where they held positions as a Systems Test Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technician, and Production Technician. Prior to that, Manuel worked at West Virginia University from 2018-2020 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. Manuel also had a role as a Mechanical Engineering Student Assistant and Resident Assistant at West Virginia University Institute of Technology from 2016-2018. Manuel gained experience as an Engineering Intern at CHARLESTON SANITARY BOARD in 2017.

Manuel Serrano Laguna completed their education in Mechanical Engineering. Manuel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Manuel then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their academic achievements, Manuel obtained the Engineer Intern (EI) certification from the New York State Education Department in July 2021.
