Ricky de Jong

Ricky de Jong is an experienced software developer with a strong background in both backend development and freelance software engineering. Currently a Backend Developer at Plug&Pay since July 2023, Ricky has also been working as a Freelance Software Engineer at RootCode since February 2019. Previously, Ricky held positions as a Senior Software Developer at E-WISE Nederland and as a Senior Software Developer & Team Lead at Deployteq, where contributions included working with various technologies such as PHP, RESTful APIs, and Docker. Ricky served as Lead Developer at Red Loyalty, overseeing a team and interfacing between management and developers. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Developer at TBlox, Fikira BV, and as a Co-owner of Nutral Design & Development. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
