Dave Brandner

Dave Brandner is the Founder and Chief Managing Officer of Plum. He was an accomplished corporate salesperson and recruiting executive for 15 years. In 2011, he left the corporate world to launch his first business, which went on to receive multiple awards and numerous “Best Of” mentions. He exited that venture in 2018 to focus exclusively on creating Plum. The inspiration for Plum came from Dave's experience while using multiple dating apps. He realized there were re-occurring themes to the widespread dissatisfaction women expressed in their profiles, as well as on dates, about their experience on dating apps: Profile misrepresentation, lewd/rude messaging, and ghosting. Plum solves for these problems.

Dave believes firmly in the adage: There are lots of great ideas, but without a great team, great ideas alone are not enough to succeed, and thus has built out an advisory board with expertise in the relationship/dating space. He graduated from Marquette University and lives in Minneapolis.
