Dimitris Samouil

Dimitris Samouil is a Data Engineer currently at Plum since January 2023, previously serving as Assistant Manager and in various roles within Analytics and Data Services at EY from October 2019 to January 2023. At EY, significant contributions included automating the generation of Management Information System (MIS) monthly reports, which reduced processing time from two weeks to three days, and developing databases and ETL processes for real estate data analysis using Python and SQL. Prior to EY, Dimitris worked as a Data Scientist on a research project at Verv, creating deep neural networks to analyze energy consumption data. Dimitris also served as a Second Lieutenant Officer in the National Guard of Cyprus from July 2011 to July 2013, distinguishing in a competitive selection process. Academically, Dimitris holds an MSc in Business Analytics from UCL and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
