Dimitris Tomaras

Dimitris Tomaras has a strong background in software engineering. Dimitris started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Sentio Solutions, Inc. in 2017, where they worked on implementing medical data logging functionality using AWS technologies. Dimitris then joined Orfium in 2018 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on various projects until 2020 when they were promoted to Engineering Manager. In this role, they managed a team and contributed to the development of software solutions. Dimitris recently joined Plum in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they continue to apply their skills and expertise.

Dimitris Tomaras completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science at Athens University of Economics and Business from 2012 to 2017. During their studies, they focused on Computer Systems and Networks, Databases, and Knowledge Management. In addition to their degree, Dimitris has pursued several certifications to enhance their skills. Dimitris obtained the "SQL and PostgreSQL: The Complete Developer's Guide" certification from Udemy: Online Courses in June 2022. In January 2022, they completed the "Go: The Complete Developer's Guide (Golang)" course from Udemy. Dimitris also obtained the "Technical Team Leadership" certification from the University of Oxford in June 2021. Other certifications include "Master SQL For Data Science using PostgreSQL 10" from Udemy in May 2019 and "Django 1.11 - Python Web Development" from Udemy in October 2017. Additionally, Dimitris holds the "Certificate of Proficiency in English" from The University of Michigan, obtained in May 2010.
