Robert Miller

Robert Miller has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Robert most recently worked at Plume Design, Inc as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, where they were a key contributor to major product releases and led front-end and API software teams. Prior to that, they worked at The University of Iowa as a Full Stack Web Developer, where they developed web applications for researchers and mentored junior developers. Before that, they were the owner of Two Knobby Tires, where they managed manufacturer relationships and increased retail sales on Amazon.com. Robert also has experience as an Entrepreneurial Fellow at the Missouri Innovation Center, a Freelance Technology Writer for O'Reilly & Associates, a Senior Agile Java Developer at Carfax, a Java Web Developer at Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and a Team Leader & Java Web Developer at JGSullivan Interactive, Inc.

Robert Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Computing from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. Robert then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business, completing it in 2008. In addition to their formal education, Robert obtained multiple certifications in Java programming and web services from Sun Microsystems, including certifications in Java programming in 2002, web component development in 2002, and enterprise architecture in 2004.
