Ziyad M. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ziyad started their career as a Systems Consultant at Old Dominion University Computer Science Department where they provided technical support and maintained network systems. Ziyad then gained experience as a Systems Engineer Co-Op at Huntington Ingalls Industries, where they assisted in project requirements gathering and created IT feasibility estimates. Ziyad also worked as a Software Engineer and Systems Administrator Co-Op at Huntington Ingalls Industries, where they resolved incident tickets and developed Microsoft Office solutions. Ziyad further expanded their skills as a Software Engineer 2 at General Dynamics, where they designed and developed cloud infrastructure and debugging satellite image processing applications. Ziyad also worked as a Software Developer at Boeing, responsible for software development. Currently, they serve as a Cloud Solutions Architect/Engineer at Plus3 IT Systems.

Ziyad M. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Old Dominion University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, from Amazon Web Services, in December 2020.
