Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been employed at SMART Technologies, initially working as a firmware engineer before advancing to the role of electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior experience includes work as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Chris's academic credentials include an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
