Lead Software Test Engineer - Android at Pluto TV

David Klein has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David is currently working as a Lead Software Test Engineer - Android at Pluto TV since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Aetna, a CVS Health Company as a Senior Software Engineer in Test from 2021 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, Klein worked at Webroot in various roles. David started as a Senior Software Development Engineer Test and then transitioned to roles such as Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Webroot, they gained expertise in Quality Assurance Testing, manual and automation, and acquired skills in scripting with various languages and tools like Android Studio, Xcode, Java, Kotlin, C++, Swift, Javascript, Katalon, Appium, and Selenium.

Before joining Webroot, Klein worked as a Freelance Workflow & Creative Technologies Consultant from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they were the Director of Quality Assurance and Workflow Technologies at 1K Agency from 2007 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, Klein worked as a Senior Quality Control Technician at International Quality Control, LLC. & Testronics from 2001 to 2007. David started their career as a Senior Audio Editor/Mixer/Recording Engineer at Paramount Domestic Television from 1996 to 2001. Furthermore, Klein had earlier experience as the Sound Department Manager and Teacher's Assistant at the University of Southern California: School of Cinema-Television from 1995 to 1998.

David Klein's education history includes a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Southern California, which they earned from 1994 to 1997. David also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy from Centre College of Danville, Kentucky, which they completed from 1990 to 1994.

In addition to their degrees, David obtained a Certificate in Computer Programming from Front Range Community College in 2017-2018. David also earned a Certificate in Computer Sciences with a focus on Programming from the same institution during the same time period.

Furthermore, David has obtained a certification in "Android Development: The Navigation Architecture Component" from Lynda.com in April 2019.
