Chris Schmidt

Chris Schmidt has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Founder/CEO of Parallel, a social commerce platform that helps users find their perfect fit. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder/CEO of Pluto Ventures, an artificial intelligence company focused on building Parallel. Chris also founded and led Schmidt Tree Banding, a business they started at the age of ten. Additionally, they founded EveryStudio, a company with three different products related to Snapchat filters, augmented reality, and iOS sticker packs. Chris also founded and grew Geofilter Studio, the world's first Snapchat filter company. Chris started Schmidt Lawn Care at the age of ten as well, providing lawn, tree, and snow services. Chris also founded Bizpkr, a search engine, and co-founded the Manitoba University Textbook Exchange Store (MUTEstore).

Chris Schmidt attended St. Paul's High School and completed their high school education in 2011. Chris then went on to enroll at the University of Manitoba, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, completing their studies in 2015.
