Derek Hopper

Derek Hopper has been president and CEO of PMA Companies since 2014. Derek joined the company in 2008 as a board member, and has held various positions in Claims, Insurance Company and TPA Corporate Operations, and Underwriting. Prior to joining PMA Companies, Derek served on the board of the Philadelphia Children's Alliance from 2006 to 2014.

Derek Hopper has a BA in Political Science and Public Policy Management from Dickinson College. Derek also has an MBA in Finance and General from Saint Joseph's University. Derek has also completed The Institutes' Insurance Executive Education Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
