Scott Nichol PhD CAS, CHPP, CEM PPO has over a decade of experience in various roles related to sales, security, crisis consulting, and intelligence analysis.

Starting in 2009, they worked as an Intelligence Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General, focusing on immediate and ongoing threat analysis and strategic context analysis.

In 2016, Scott served as the Director of Academia at the Emergency Operations Proving Grounds, where they contributed to the development of emergency operations training programs.

Scott Nichol has an extensive education history and a range of certifications. Scott obtained a Certificate in National Security Policy Studies from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2017. Scott also completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations at Sciences Po in the same year. Scott Nichol has a Master's Degree in National Security & Terrorism from American Military University. Scott earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Carroll University. Additionally, they completed the Pandemic Management program at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.

Apart from their formal education, Scott Nichol holds several certifications. These include completion of the Dichotomy of Leadership Foundation Course and the Extreme Ownership Foundation Course from Echelon Front in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Scott also completed the Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview course offered by the American Red Cross in 2016. Scott also completed several other NATO courses focused on staff, planning, joint operations, leadership, amendment training, countering hybrid threats, NATO SOFEVAL, intelligence, technical exploitation operations coordination, threat network analysis, and cellular exploitation.
