Scott Nichol PhD CAS, CHPP, CEM PPO

Scott Nichol PhD CAS, CHPP, CEM PPO has over a decade of experience in various roles related to sales, security, crisis consulting, and intelligence analysis.

Starting in 2009, they worked as an Intelligence Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General, focusing on immediate and ongoing threat analysis and strategic context analysis.

In 2016, Scott served as the Director of Academia at the Emergency Operations Proving Grounds, where they contributed to the development of emergency operations training programs.

Scott then held the position of U.S. Director of Operations at SECINDEF (Security, Intelligence, and Defense) Israel-USA International Consulting Counterterrorism from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they supervised various support activities and projects related to counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence.

From 2017 to 2019, Scott also worked as a Sales Manager for the "CopBox" at CTech Manufacturing, focusing on the sales of specialized equipment for law enforcement agencies.

In 2019, they joined Active Crisis Consulting as a Crisis Consultant, providing expertise and guidance in crisis management.

Scott then served as the Director of Security at a confidential company from 2015 to present.

In 2020, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at OPS Public Safety, responsible for sales in a specific geographic region.

Scott also held sales positions at Brink's Inc and PM AM Corporation | PM AM IT Services. At Brink's Inc, they worked as a Small Business Account Executive and later as a Sales Development Representative / Manager. At PM AM Corporation, they served as a Sales Development Representative, promoting the Crime Disruptor software and utilizing PM AM's Core Four Pillars to enhance crime data insight, resource management, citizen outreach, and social media monitoring for city departments.

Scott Nichol has an extensive education history and a range of certifications. Scott obtained a Certificate in National Security Policy Studies from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2017. Scott also completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations at Sciences Po in the same year. Scott Nichol has a Master's Degree in National Security & Terrorism from American Military University. Scott earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Carroll University. Additionally, they completed the Pandemic Management program at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.

Apart from their formal education, Scott Nichol holds several certifications. These include completion of the Dichotomy of Leadership Foundation Course and the Extreme Ownership Foundation Course from Echelon Front in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Scott also completed the Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview course offered by the American Red Cross in 2016. Scott Nichol obtained various certifications from NATO, including courses in NATO Special Operations Air Planning, NATO Special Operations Air Mission Commanders, NSHQ Cyber Operations, and NATO SOF Combat Medical Simulation. Scott also completed several other NATO courses focused on staff, planning, joint operations, leadership, amendment training, countering hybrid threats, NATO SOFEVAL, intelligence, technical exploitation operations coordination, threat network analysis, and cellular exploitation.
