Catherine Shannon

Catherine Shannon currently serves as the Group Head of Process Safety at PM Group since August 2023. Prior to this role, Catherine was an EHS Advisor specializing in Process Safety at Thermo Fisher Scientific from October 2019 to July 2023 and held a similar position at GSK from March 2016 to October 2019. Catherine's career also includes serving as a Senior Process Safety Engineer at PM Group between May 2014 and March 2016 and as a Process Safety Engineer at Pfizer from September 2001 to June 2013. The professional journey began as a Process / Project Engineer at Jacobs from January 1998 to September 2001. Catherine holds a Masters in Chemical and Process Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology / ADM Ringaskiddy and a B.Eng. (Hons) in Chemical and Process Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology.
