Chris O'Brien

Chris O'Brien, PMP, is currently the Chapter President and has been a project manager for over 15 years. She has been an IT professional in higher education for all of her career, the last 25 years at Cornell University. Chris has served as project manager for a variety of IT projects ranging from small enhancements to multi-year, multi-million dollar enterprise system upgrades and implementations. She obtained her PMP certification in 2016 and is the founder of 'Snack and Share' at Cornell - an informal/inclusive community to provide monthly(-ish) meetings to network, connect, collaborate, learn and share topics like PM/BA best practices, change management, tech tools, and other fresh topics of importance at Cornell. She was honored with the 2019 PMI Rochester Project Manager Excellence award.
