Michel Casselman

Michel Casselman is an experienced finance and investment professional currently serving as a member of the InvestEU Steering Board since April 2021. With a tenure as General Manager at PMV - Doe- en Durfbedrijf since November 2014, Michel has also held significant roles at VinaLand, where responsibilities included serving as Chairman of the Board and Independent Director from November 2011 to September 2019. Previous experience encompasses a partnership role at AeroManS from October 2012 to August 2014, CFO at Leeward Private Equity between November 2011 and February 2013, and Independent Director at Kubera Cross Border Fund from June 2009 to January 2013. Early career highlights include a group director position at Petercam from 2005 to 2011, and prior roles as Manager of Institutional Marketing & Sales and Analyst from 1998 to 2005, as well as Director of Consulting Services at Numetrix from 1993 to 1998. Michel holds a Master's degree in Financial Economics from K.U.L. and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, along with additional education from INSEAD in 2014.
