Dianjun Ren

Dianjun (Eric) Ren currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Group Manager, Head of Data Science for Retail Lending at PNC since September 2018. In this role, Dianjun manages a team focused on developing, maintaining, and implementing retail lending risk management models across various product lines. Notable achievements include leading the creation of an end-to-end machine learning platform and overseeing the integration of BBVA's modeling and analytics into PNC. Previously, Dianjun worked at Freddie Mac as Associate Director of Quantitative Analysis, where efforts included automating underwriting scorecard models and developing loan loss forecasting models. Earlier experience at Capital One involved risk modeling for subprime credit card products and enhancing data staging efficiency significantly. Dianjun holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Virginia.
