Amy Xiong has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to 2021. In 2014, they worked as an Editor for Essay101.com, LLC and as an Undergraduate Researcher for both the Gabriel P. López Lab and the Dong Yan Lab. In 2015, they were a Design Engineer for ViFlex, LLC and a Summer Engineering Intern for Engineering World Health. In 2016, they were a Biomedical Engineering Summer Associate for Medtronic. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Hardware Engineer II, Hardware Engineer, and Associate Hardware Engineer for Medtronic, and a Clinical Specialist for NeurOptics. In 2020, they were a User Research Lead for Curative. Currently, they are a Marketing and User Research Lead for PocketRN, where they lead marketing and user research for patients, nurses, and health systems to design and implement an innovative virtual nurse-led home care model.
Amy Xiong has a diverse educational background. Amy received their Bachelor's Degree from Duke University in 2017, where they studied Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2015-2016, they were a Visiting Student at ETH Zürich, studying Mechanical Engineering. Amy is currently pursuing a Master's degree from Stanford University in Design Impact: Human Centered Product Design, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
