Kenneth Janeski has over 17 years of work experience in the animation industry. Kenneth is currently the Sr. Director of Animation at pocket.watch since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Animation from October 2019 to February 2021.
Before joining pocket.watch, Kenneth was self-employed as a Freelance Animator from March 2016 to October 2019. During this time, they worked on various animation projects as a freelancer.
From January 2014 to March 2016, Kenneth worked at Nickelodeon Animation Studios as a Digital Animation Supervisor. Kenneth supervised a team of 5 animators and was involved in various aspects of animation production. Kenneth also designed reusable visual effects and developed tools and scripts to streamline the production pipeline.
Prior to that, Kenneth worked at Nickelodeon Animation Studios as a Lead CG Animator/Post Production from October 2007 to December 2013.
Before their time at Nickelodeon, they worked as a Motion Graphic Artist at Anaheim Ducks from October 2005 to October 2007. Here, they conceptualized, designed, and animated motion graphics for LED and Diamond Vision displays, and also assisted in the production of motion graphics for television broadcasts and commercials.
Kenneth's early work experience includes a role as the Lead Animator/Still Photographer at O Entertainment from June 2004 to July 2005. Kenneth introduced in-house photography to production, conceptualized photo-based 2D animation, and supervised the blend with 3D Studio Max and Maya. Kenneth also managed a team of 8 animators and served as a liaison to the editorial department.
