Leah Ford

Leah Ford is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in wound care and podiatric medicine. Since January 2008, Leah has served as the Regional Medical Director at Woundtech, managing a clinical team of over 50 members in South Florida and overseeing training programs for clinicians. Prior roles include Clinical Lead, where Leah ensured quality care and provided training for new clinicians, and Field Clinician, responsible for advanced wound assessments and care. Leah's earlier experience includes managing post-operative patients at the South Florida Institute of Sports Medicine, completing a fellowship in wound care and hyperbaric therapy at Catholic Health Services, and serving as a Podiatric Surgical Resident at Montefiore Health System. Leah holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Nova Southeastern University.
