Aled Owens has a diverse work experience that encompasses leadership roles in various companies. Aled is currently the Head of New Partnerships at Podium Education, a fast-growing EdTech startup that focuses on providing experiential learning opportunities to students worldwide. Aled joined the company in May 2020 and is responsible for partnering with universities to deliver digital global programs.
Prior to their current role, Aled worked as a Commercial Advisor at Capitol Grips, starting in January 2021. Before that, they founded Hopalytics in January 2019.
Aled's extensive experience in the higher education sector includes occupying several positions at QS, the world's leading provider of services and insights to the global higher education sector. Aled served as the VP of North America from February 2016 to April 2020, overseeing global product operations, P&L, and business development. As the Director of QS Global Business School Division, they played a significant role from January 2014 to February 2016. Aled also served as the Head of Product from February 2011 to January 2014 and as a Business Manager from August 2007 to November 2011, where they designed and built "www.topinternships.com," a leading internship search site in Europe.
Aled's early career includes working at AIESEC UK Ltd as the Head of External Relations & International Programs from February 2006 to August 2007.
