Dan Blue

Dan Blue has a diverse range of work experience, with their most recent role being the VP of Product at Podium Education since September 2022. Before that, they worked at 2U from January 2020 to September 2022, where they played a key role in creating the Product function and driving a 300% expansion of the product portfolio. Dan also took over the Enterprise segment and was responsible for the P&L and Product for the fastest growing segment of 2U. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Product Marketing & Strategy at Trilogy Education from September 2018 to January 2020. From June 2016 to September 2018, they worked at Pearson as a Portfolio Strategy Manager & Product Manager for the Higher Ed Courseware business, focusing on strategic planning, product and platform strategy, and business model transformation. Dan also held the position of Senior Product Strategy Analyst at Pearson from June 2015 to June 2016. Dan has experience in venture-backed start-ups as well, serving as the Director of Operations at Waymark Marketing from May 2013 to March 2015 and as the CEO of PowerVoice, LLC from March 2012 to November 2012. Dan started their career at Mobile Accord as a Business Analyst from May 2010 to March 2012, where they were responsible for new market development and strategy, business and partner development, and product management.

Dan Blue attended Michigan State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Dan'smajor areas of study included International Relations, Economics, Arabic, and Muslim Studies. In 2008, they also participated in an intensive Arabic program at The American University in Cairo. In addition to their formal education, Dan Blue has obtained several certifications, including "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn, all obtained in March 2021.
