Daniel Apicella

Daniel Apicella has extensive work experience in various roles related to risk adjustment operations, finance, and healthcare consulting. Daniel currently serves as the Vice President of Risk Adjustment Operations at Point32Health, where they have successfully restructured the department, built a high-performing provider consulting team, and introduced new technologies and programs. Prior to this, they held leadership positions at Tufts Health Plan and Massachusetts Health Connector, where they played key roles in risk adjustment operations and finance management. Daniel also worked as a Senior Consultant at Public Consulting Group, providing analytical support for healthcare reform planning. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Consultant at Boston Benefit Partners, LLC and held policy advisory and program management roles at Group Insurance Commission. Daniel began their career as a Political Affairs Officer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Daniel Apicella completed a LEAD (Executive Education Program) in Business Administration and Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2022 to 2023.

Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy (U.S. Healthcare Policy) from Northeastern University between 2003 and 2005.

Before pursuing their master's degree, Daniel Apicella earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) in History from the University of Hull from 1996 to 1999.

In addition to their formal degrees, Daniel Apicella also obtained certifications. Daniel received an Entrepreneurial Venture Creation Certificate from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in August 2020. Furthermore, they obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business and Management from the University of Central Lancashire in June 2001.
