Raj Hazarika M.D.

Raj Hazarika MD has a diverse work experience. Raj started their career as a Primary Care Physician at UMass Memorial Medical Center in 2007. From there, they went on to become an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2007, where they stayed until 2019. In 2011, they briefly worked as a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 2012, they joined Reliant Medical Group as the Chair of the Department - Same Day Services until 2016. Simultaneously, they also worked as an Emergency Department Physician at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center from 2016 to 2020. Since 2017, Raj Hazarika MD has been associated with Point32Health, where they started as the Medical Director for Commercial Products - Massachusetts, Rhode Island until 2023. Currently, they serve as the VP and Chief Medical Officer - Commercial Products.

Raj Hazarika MD holds a Master of Science (SM) degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Raj also completed a residency in Family Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Gauhati University. Additionally, they are Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties and holds a Massachusetts Medical License from the Board of Registration in Medicine.
