Michael Keyes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael began their career as a Physical Therapist at Thomas Nicolla Physical Therapy Associates in 1996 before moving to McClellan Health System as a Staff Physical Therapist from 1997 to 2000. Michael then served as the Director of Mary McClellan Hospital in 2000. From 2001 to 2005, Keyes worked at Saratoga Hospital as a Sr Physical Therapist - Business Development and a Clinical/Administrative Specialist. In the same period, they also worked as a Team Leader at Urgent Care and a Senior Physical Therapist at Saratoga Care.
Keyes then transitioned to the healthcare industry, joining WellCare in 2005 as a Network Development Specialist and later as an Operations Manager. Michael was responsible for managing contracts and relationships with partner groups, implementing cost containment strategies, and analyzing financial performance. In 2009, they became the Senior Manager of Provider Operations, overseeing the implementation of a corporate-wide reengineering initiative and bridging the gap between corporate and field network operations. Keyes also served as the Interim Network Director for WellCare's struggling Ohio operations.
In 2011, Keyes joined Treo Solutions as a Lead Consultant, where they presumably provided consulting services in their area of expertise. Michael then moved to 3M Health Care in 2015 and served as an Engagement Leader until 2019.
Keyes currently holds the position of Vice President, Health Plan Business Development at PointClickCare, a role they have held since 2019. Michael is responsible for driving business development initiatives and expanding the health plan business.
Throughout their career, Keyes has demonstrated a strong skill set in business development, operations management, and healthcare consulting.
Michael Keyes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College between 1992 and 1996. Michael later completed an MBA in Operations at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2002 to 2004.
