Joyce Xie

Joyce Xie has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and brand management field. Joyce is currently working as a Brand Marketing Manager EMEA at The Pokémon Company International, where they have been since 2022.

Prior to that, Joyce worked at Entertainment One from 2019 to 2021 as a Marketing Manager EMEA. In this role, they managed marketing plans for various brands such as Transformers, Power Rangers, and PJ Masks. Joyce focused on developing brand awareness and affinity through 360 marketing strategies and brand partnerships.

Before joining Entertainment One, Joyce gained experience at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where they served as a Junior Brand Manager for hayu from 2019 to 2019. Joyce also participated in the Future Leaders Programme at NBCUniversal from 2016 to 2019.

Earlier in their career, Joyce worked as a Sales Associate at Burberry in 2015 and again from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they interned in marketing roles at UNIVERSAL PICTURES (UK) LIMITED and Universal Pictures International Entertainment, where they gained experience in market analysis and campaign management for major franchises.

Joyce Xie attended Aston University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Townley Grammar School from 2006 to 2012, focusing on Business Studies. Additionally, they obtained a certification in KidAware from SuperAwesome in July 2021.
