Kai Wang

Kai Wang is a Deputy Senior Research Scientist at POLA ORBIS HOLDINGS INC. since October 2020, focusing on psychology and life sciences at POLA CHEMICAL INDUSTRY, INC. Previously, Kai Wang worked as a Collaborative Researcher at Osaka University from May 2018 to September 2020, specializing in eye movement, schizophrenia, and brain-inspired computation, alongside a role as a Scientific Researcher at NEC Corporation from July 2016 to September 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at 日本学術振興会 from October 2015 to March 2016, and obtaining a Ph.D. from Tohoku University between 2009 and 2015, with research on pitch perception, complemented by a Master's degree focused on modeling for neurons. Education was rounded out with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Beijing University of Technology from 2004 to 2008.
