Alexander Bondarenko has a comprehensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Alexander first worked as a Graduate Student at Carnegie Mellon University from August 1997 to September 2001. Alexander later joined Scotia Capital in October 2001 and held various roles including Manager and Senior Manager in Risk Management Analytics, Director in Market Risk Management, Vice President in Hedge Funds Credit, and Director in Credit Trading. Alexander stayed with Scotia Capital until July 2017. Since then, in April 2019, they have been working at Polar Asset Management Partners Inc., first as a Director and currently as the Chief Risk Officer.
Alexander Bondarenko received a Master's degree in Mathematical Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at Dartmouth High School.
