Teijo Himanen

Teijo Himanen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, product management, and sales and marketing within the technology and fitness industries. At Polar Electro Oy since June 2003, Teijo holds multiple roles including Manager of Polar R&D, where responsibilities include overseeing both Tampere and Jyväskylä offices. Previous roles at Polar include Site and Line Manager, Senior Product Manager for both BtoC and BtoB services, and Development Manager. Prior to Polar, Teijo served as General Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager at SunCom Systems Oy, and held project management positions at Bonafit Oy and Fitness Academy of Finland Oy. Teijo began a career in technology at Fit-Test Oy, focusing on UX/UI development and marketing. Teijo's educational background includes a tradenomi degree from Mikkelin liiketalouden instituutti and a degree in tietoliikennetekniikka from Mikkelin ammattioppilaitos, along with a ylioppilas degree from Puumalan yhteislukio.
