Christopher Nelson

Christopher Nelson is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over a decade of experience at Polaris Inc., currently serving as the Human Resources Director for Global Digital and Information Technology since August 2010. In this role, Christopher provides strategic HR direction and support to the global organization, collaborating with leadership to meet long-range priorities. Previous positions at Polaris include Senior Human Resources Manager overseeing multi-site distribution facilities, Human Resources Manager at the Parts, Garments and Accessories Distribution Center, and various Generalist roles supporting different operational functions. Christopher began a career in HR as a Generalist Intern at the corporate headquarters after gaining project management experience at Solstad Construction and Design. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota and a Liberal Arts degree in Psychology from Hamline University.
