Dr. Jonas Kölzer

Dr. Jonas Kölzer is a distinguished physicist with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. As a co-founder and advisor at Polarstern Education since 2017, Kölzer has been instrumental in the development of educational technologies, overseeing a developer team under a SCRUM framework. Kölzer also served as Product Manager for Developer Experience at Sensirion from November 2021 to November 2024, focusing on enhancing product development experiences and leading innovations in sensor applications. Previously, Kölzer held roles as Application Engineer and Field Application Engineer at Sensirion, where responsibilities included driving co-development projects and providing technical support to key customers. Additionally, Kölzer contributed to the ML4Q&A Podcast, promoting dialogue on quantum technology, and completed a Ph.D. on quantum transport properties of topological insulators at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Kölzer holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics from RWTH Aachen University and the Università degli Studi di Milano.
