Ruth Smith (Ravitz)

Ruth (Ravitz) Smith is an accomplished leader and strategic expert with extensive experience in government affairs, communications, and organizational development. Currently serving as President of RR Smith Strategic Solutions, LLC (R2S3) since February 2019, Ruth has also taken on roles as a Strategic Partner with New Lantern Partners and as Founder & President of Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area. Ruth's previous positions include Chief Communications Officer for New Hanover County and Senior Vice President for Global Government Affairs & Policy at GE, among others. Ruth holds an MBA from Marymount University and a BA in Law & Society from Hood College, complemented by a TESOL certification and a distinguished background in stakeholder engagement and public policy.
