Martín Foerster has been working in various roles since 2009. Martín started as an Account Officer at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where they offered financial solutions to companies such as Cencosud, Entel, and Salmones Antártica. In 2010, they became an Export Manager at Viña Terramater, where they were responsible for designing and executing marketing plans for wine shipments to Asia, North America, and Africa. Martín also opened 10 new clients in two years. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Viña Casa Donoso as Sales Director, where they developed and successfully implemented the sales and marketing plan for the market, according to the company's strategic plan and OKRs. Martín also developed new KPIs for the market and incorporated new Sales Managers into the team. In 2018, they became Regional Manager at ARESTI CHILE WINE S.A., where they were responsible for sales and marketing for the designated markets. Finally, in 2021, they joined Poliglota (YC W21) as Head of Global Business Dev. & Partnerships and Head of Business Dev. / Country Head B2C CL. In these roles, they were responsible for directing the area, strategy, and team of the Commercial Strategy Department, as well as defining short, medium, and long-term strategies for the development of new markets and businesses. Martín also monitored and managed KPIs, OKRs, and commercial alliances, along with the progress of leads and referrals in the sales team's funnel.
Martín Foerster received an MSc in Ingeniería Comercial from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez between 2003 and 2008.
