Gabriela Chavez is an experienced paralegal and social services coordinator currently serving at the PAIR Project since April 2019, specializing in intake and immigration legal services across Massachusetts, including the preparation of various immigration applications and conducting educational presentations. Previously, Gabriela acted as a consultant for the Boston Center for Independent Living in May 2021, focusing on cultural competency for the immigrant community in Chelsea. Gabriela also worked with unaccompanied minors at Kids in Need of Defense from September 2017 to March 2019, and provided Spanish interpretation for Greater Boston Legal Services. Other roles include program assistance at the Religious Literacy Project at Harvard Divinity School, an internship at Centro Presente, and various positions in customer service and administrative support. Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Wesleyan University and a Master of Divinity from Harvard University.
