Matthew Cranford

Matthew is a Director in the Washington D.C. office. Prior to joining Pollination, Matthew held various roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury over the past 9 years, including, most recently, Senior Policy Advisor for Climate and Sustainable Finance, where he lead strategy for Treasury’s international engagement on sustainable finance and climate-related financial risks, including at the FSB, G20, G7, OECD, and Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Policy & Development from LSE, a MSc in Environmental Technology, Environmental Economics & Policy Specialization from Imperial College London and a BSc in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Virginia​.
