Shane Flatman

Shane has over 20 years of experience working in global financial institutions across roles including finance, risk, strategy, and technology. Prior to joining Pollination, Shane was COO at OneVentures, where he oversaw all finance, administration, and compliance processes. Whilst there he developed and implemented their Responsible Investment Policy (ESG) across the investment portfolio, developed secondary transactions for fund assets and restructured the OneVentures corporate group. Shane was previously the COO for BlackRock in Australia, overseeing the operational, product, risk and finance aspects of the Australian business. He has also held roles at Westpac, Citadel Investment Group, and Lehman Brothers across Tokyo, New York, Chicago and Sydney. Shane is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Australia. He has also completed executive education in disruptive strategy and sustainable business strategy with Harvard University.
