Carey Wade began their work experience in 2002 as a Client Services Manager at TRC Staffing Services, Inc., where they worked until 2004. In 2004, they joined Pollock Orora as an Account Management Specialist and later transitioned to the role of Customer Relations Project Manager in November 2021.

Carey Wade attended Valdosta State University from 1996 to 2001. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication, with an emphasis on Business Management and a minor in Marketing/PR.
