Tim Newberg is currently the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Polte. Tim is responsible for driving commercial scale for Polte's massive IoT cloud location over cellular solutions by partnering with leading ecosystem partners, including cellular modem/chipsets, module partners, solution partners, and channel partners. Tim's key responsibilities include developing overall GTM (Go-To-Market) Strategy for Polte Location and Intelligence solutions, focusing on specific Verticals and Use Cases for IoT, creating marketing content (PR, case study, webinar) to showcase Polte Value Proposition and customer success across these applications/segments.
Under Tim's leadership, Polte has seen 3x revenue growth for 2022 with a plan for 5x growth in 2023 and additional 3x growth in 2024 based on strategic alignment with key ecosystem partner engagements/enablement, updated pricing strategy/approach and improved onboarding sales process for Proof of Concept/Value (PoC/PoV) and support towards Integration, Commercialization and Scale (10+ new PoCs in 1H2022).
Prior to joining Polte, Tim was with another company for just over a year where they held the title of Vice President of Sales & Marketing. During their time there, they were responsible for developing the overall GTM (Go-To-Market) Strategy for Polte Location and Intelligence solutions, focusing on specific Verticals and Use Cases for IoT, creating marketing content (PR, case study, webinar) to showcase Polte Value Proposition and customer success across these applications/segments.
