Matthew Shaw

Matthew Shaw is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in private equity-backed companies. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at POLYWOOD since January 2018, Shaw has been instrumental in leading the largest outdoor furniture manufacturer specializing in HDPE products. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Custom Window Systems and Sunshine Energy, where focus was on value creation and successful exits. Before these positions, Shaw worked as Managing Director at Crossbow Ventures, overseeing a $160 million private equity fund, and as a Senior Financial Analyst at Centennial Ventures. Shaw began the career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche. Academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard University and both a B.B.A. and a Masters of Accounting from the University of Miami.
