George May

George May is an experienced A&R professional with a current position as A&R Manager at Polydor Records since January 2023. Previously, George held the same title at Warner Chappell Music from September 2022 to January 2023 and worked as an A&R Consultant at Young Artists from January 2022 to September 2022. Additional experience includes serving as an A&R Scout Consultant at Modest! Management / AMLOR Music, and a brief role in radio plugging at All Ears Music. George co-founded and managed Murky Records from January 2014 to January 2017 and has held various sales and internship roles at Fortnum & Mason, Armstrong International, Freddie's Flowers, and Eliot Partnership. George holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Bristol, completed in 2019.
