Christopher Boykin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christopher started their career with Bank of America as a Call Center Representative in 2004. In 2005, they worked as a 3rd Shift Coordinator at XPO Logistics - Supply Chain. Following that, Boykin served as the General Sales Manager and A&R Director at Top Mics Tour Competition Concerts from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they took on the role of Managing Production Director at GT Management LLC. During this time, they managed a staff of 52 employees, contractors, editors, freelance workers, and college interns. Additionally, Boykin worked as an Inside Sales Representative at Polymershapes from 2005 until an unspecified end date. In the same year, they began their tenure at Stardom Media, where they held various positions, including Publisher at Stardom101 Magazine. In this role, they managed content, conducted interviews, moderated debates, hosted live events, and maintained the website's personality page. In the same year, they also attended Marist College and earned an Associate's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Public Relations.
In 2004, Boykin enrolled in J Sargeant Reynolds Community College and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Studies, focusing on Journalism and Mass Communication, News, and Editorial Journalism.
In terms of additional certifications, Boykin obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they became a certified SCM Group Pro Am Saw Operator through SCM. In 2009, they obtained a Hazardous Material certification from HAZARDOUS CONTROL INC. In 2010, they became a certified CLP/ CDL Truck Driver through CDL Leads. In 2013, Boykin obtained an Official Press Identification Card/Publisher certification from the Virginia Press Association. Finally, in 2015, they became Forklift Operator Certified through Forklift Training Systems.
