Marie-Christine Oerthel

Marie-Christine OERTHEL is an experienced Innovation Scientist at PolyPeptide Group since October 2021, specializing in the development of analytical techniques for peptide synthesis. Prior roles include serving as a Scientific and Technical Adviser at Analytice and a Scientist Advisor at Leyton France, focusing on qualifying R&D projects and maximizing financial contributions through innovation financing. Previous positions also include evaluating cosmetic product safety at Cabinet d'expertise Dominique Saboureau and conducting R&D in coordination and material chemistry at Aquitaine Science Transfert. OERTHEL holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Durham University and has a strong academic background in chemistry and biology from the University of Strasbourg, complemented by international experience at Newcastle University and The University of Western Australia through a Master internship.
